Managed sourcing · Beauty
A sourcing partner for your beauty brand’s first order.
Move from a promising idea to a supplier decision with someone representing your brief. I research suitable manufacturers, lead supplier conversations, negotiate practical terms and help you choose your first-order route.
We discuss your project before any payment.

Does this sound familiar?
From uncertainty to a considered supplier decision.
For founders sourcing skincare, cosmetics, haircare or beauty packaging who want more than a list of names.
You need to know which supplier can actually work with your formula, packaging and target volume.
Quotes are difficult to compare because MOQs, samples, lead times and inclusions differ.
You want someone to represent your interests in supplier discussions before you commit funds.
What you receive
Research, representation and negotiation in one focused project.
The shared process
- A clear brief for one agreed sourcing country and a focused product line.
- Research and outreach leading to 3–5 explained supplier recommendations where viable.
- Representation in discussions with up to three shortlisted suppliers.
- Up to two negotiation rounds on price, minimums, samples, timing and key commercial terms.
- A written comparison and recommendation to support one first-order decision.
Tailored to your category
- Translate your product brief into the questions beauty manufacturers need answered.
- Clarify private-label versus custom formulation, sample options, packaging, minimums and lead times.
- Request available ingredient, testing and manufacturing documents; flag questions for a qualified regulatory specialist.
You approve the supplier, specifications, terms and spend before any order is placed.
How it works
A practical route from brief to decision.
Tell me what you need
Share your product, target market, timing and planned order budget. We first decide whether managed sourcing fits.
I represent your brief
After we agree the scope, I research and engage suppliers, clarify their capabilities and negotiate selected terms.
Review the options
You receive a reasoned comparison and choose whether to proceed. No supplier or order is approved for you.
Starting investment
Managed sourcing starts at $1,250.
This is a project fee for a focused brief, separate from product orders and third-party costs. It is generally a fit for buyers planning around $10,000 or more in product spend, but we will discuss your situation first.
If you already purchased the $247 Supplier Match for the same agreed brief, that fee can be credited toward Managed Sourcing.
Discuss your project firstScope, clearly defined
Includes supplier research, up to three supplier discussions, up to two negotiation rounds and a written recommendation for one first-order decision.
Goods, samples, testing, inspection, travel, freight, duties, custom development and ongoing production or order management are additional. Multiple unrelated product lines or countries need a separate quote.
Formula development, laboratory testing, safety assessment, regulatory approval and product claims review require separate specialist work. I do not certify product safety or compliance.
Common questions
Know what happens before you commit.
Supplier responses and the complexity of your brief affect timing. We agree the practical scope and expected milestones during the initial discussion.
Do I pay before we discuss my products?
No. Start with the enquiry below. I will review what you are sourcing and explain the fit and scope before payment.
Can you guarantee my products will meet regulations?
No. I can ask suppliers for their documents and identify gaps to investigate. A qualified specialist must review requirements in the market where you will sell.
Will you place an order or guarantee a discount?
No. You approve all supplier, specification, commercial and payment decisions. Negotiation is included, but a lower price or specific supplier outcome cannot be guaranteed.
What if I only need supplier recommendations?
Start with the Supplier Match service. It provides 3–5 explained recommendations where viable; supplier representation and negotiation are part of Managed Sourcing.
